Gideon Pond is a neighborhood of East Bloomington that is situated southeast of 104th Street and Nicollet Avenue. The neighborhood is mostly made up of split levels and ramblers ranging from $250,000 to $600,000 in price. Gideon Pond is made up of around 130 single family homes.

The nearest amenity available to residents of Gideon Pond is Gene Kelly Playfields, which is situated just north of the neighborhood. The park has numerous recreational amenities including baseball fields, soccer fields, a hockey rink, and tennis courts. Other nearby parks include Soltvedt Memorial Beach and Mound Springs Park.
